Submissions to our online journal are accepted on a rolling basis. We accept pieces across all disciplines, written and visual, i.e. poetry, fiction, nonfiction, reviews, criticism, illustrations, photography, film, and more.

Please familiarize yourself with our regulations before submitting:

All work submitted to The Margin Magazine must be entirely your own. Plagiarism is not condoned.

Currently, The Margin Magazine offers no monetary compensation to contributors. You will retain all rights to your work.

If we select your work, you are granting us the right to display your work in The Margin Magazine online, and to use your name and your work in promotional materials, such as advertisement and social media. You also grant us permission to make any edits or stylistic changes necessary for The Margin Magazine online.

We accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your work has been accepted anywhere else. You have the right to republish your work after it has appeared on our website. In this case, we kindly ask you to credit The Margin Magazine with first publication. We do not accept previously published work.

You have the right to have your work removed from the website at any time. If the work is removed from the site, we revoke the rights listed above.
